St Bernard's Hospice

St Bernard's Hospice

St Bernard’s Hospice is an East London based non-profit organization providing palliative care (home visits) to patients diagnosed with a life-threatening illness such as cancer, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, MDR TB etc. and emotional support to their families. Our service includes a childcare program for children diagnosed with a life-threatening illness as mentioned above, including cerebral palsy, orphans and vulnerable children, as well as training in HWSETA accredited home based care and introduction to palliative care. We do not turn any patient away if they cannot afford to contribute towards their care and will find a way to assist all patients referred to us. Any person can refer a patient to St Bernard’s Hospice and one of our palliative care qualified Prof Nurses will visit the patient for an assessment.
